How it works

Most AI tools start with the writing. Decodefy starts with you.

There's a reason the output from every other tool sounds like everyone else. It isn't the model. It's that nobody ever told it who you are.

The problem

Why everything else sounds the same

Every AI writing tool produces writing. The model predicts what comes next based on everything it's been trained on - which is, essentially, everything anyone has ever written.

The output is fluent. Grammatically correct. Well structured. And completely interchangeable with what every other business in your sector is producing from the same tools.

That isn't a prompting problem, and better prompting won't fix it. The model has nothing to work from. It doesn't know how you explain things, what you believe, where twenty years changed your mind about something, or what you'd never say.

You could tell it all of that. Nothing stops you.

But you'd have to work out what those things are first, write them down properly, structure them so the tool can actually use them, and keep them current as the business changes.

Almost nobody does. Not through laziness - because describing your own voice is genuinely hard, and you're busy doing the actual work.

That's the part Decodefy does first.

The foundation

The Master Brand Compass

Before Decodefy produces anything for you, it needs to know you. Not your industry. You.

The way you explain things. The language you use with clients. The analogies that land. The opinions you hold that your competitors don't. The things you'd never say. The expertise built up over years that lives in your head and almost never makes it onto the page.

The Master Brand Compass session captures all of it. About an hour with one of the Decodefy team. By the end, we have everything needed to build your setup.

That foundation is permanent. It doesn't reset. It doesn't forget. Every time you use Decodefy, everything runs through it.

You build it once. You don't rebuild it every Monday morning.

The session

What actually happens in the hour

You don't prepare anything. There's no questionnaire to fill in beforehand, no homework, no brand documents to dig out.

We talk. About the business, the clients, the work - the same way you'd explain it to someone sitting opposite you. We ask questions, some of them slightly odd, because the useful material is rarely where people expect it to be. The throwaway detail you've stopped finding interesting is usually the thing that changes the output.

Most people talk for an hour and are surprised by how much comes out.

You do not need to know what to say before you arrive. The conversation is how we find it.

Two to three working days later, your setup is built and you're trained on it.

The framework

The AEC Fractal Framework®

Your Compass tells Decodefy who is speaking. The Framework governs how the piece gets built.

Jon spent two years studying how expert human copywriters actually think - not what they write, but the process that happens before a word goes on the page. How an argument gets constructed. How a reader's trust gets earned. How someone moves from scepticism to conviction without noticing the journey.

Two hundred and seven iterations before a single client saw it.

The result runs Attract, Engage and Convert logic at every level of a piece simultaneously - the whole strategy, the individual piece, and the sentence. It isn't a template and it isn't a style guide.

The AI generates the language. The Compass supplies the voice. The Framework supplies the structure and the commercial intent.

Compounding

Month one is good. Month six is significantly better.

Not because the AI got smarter. Because it knows more about you.

Every session adds to the foundation. Every piece of feedback refines the voice. The longer you use it, the more it knows you - and the wider the gap grows between your output and everyone else's.

Removing the barrier

When writing itself is the barrier

The most significant thing Decodefy does isn't visible in the output. It's in who can produce the output at all.

For some experts, the knowledge was never missing. The mechanics of written expression were the barrier - sometimes for a working lifetime.

They speak naturally, the way they'd explain something to a customer. Decodefy turns that into professional written content, in their voice, at a standard they're comfortable putting their name on.

That isn't a workaround. It's what the system was built for.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

Why not just build this yourself?

You can. Genuinely.

Write detailed instructions. Upload examples of your writing. Document your positioning, your audience, your voice rules. Build the workflows. Then keep all of it current as the business changes.

For some people that's exactly the right answer, and we'd rather say so than sell you something you don't need.

Decodefy is for people who'd rather have that work extracted properly, structured by someone who does it for a living, and maintained for them - and spend the time on the work they're actually good at instead.

You bring the expertise. We build the system around it.

The architecture

Built to stay ahead

James built Decodefy modular and AI-agnostic from day one. It isn't locked to any single model or provider.

When something better arrives - and it will - he assesses it, tests it, and integrates it if it improves the output. Your voice foundation doesn't move. You just get better results.

The Compass and the Framework sit above the AI layer. The models change. Your voice doesn't need rebuilding every time they do.

Support

Human where it counts. Systems everywhere else.

Some things can't be automated without breaking them.

The Compass session is always a person. It's a conversation, not a form. Nobody has yet built software that can hear an expert mention something in passing and recognise it as the most interesting thing they've said.

Training is proper training, not a video dumped in your inbox. A live session when your setup is built, then a written guide library and short videos you can revisit. Plus regular live sessions you can drop into - partly to learn what's new, partly because useful ideas often come from another client's discovery.

Support is ticketed, and answered by people who know the system. Not a chatbot. A ticket means your question is logged, tracked and answered by whoever can actually solve it - rather than sitting in one person's inbox while they're on holiday.

Building systems isn't a step away from the human layer. It's what lets us keep the human layer where it counts: in the room with you, working out what makes your business different.
